It is a fact that OEM oils are certified, independently tested and certified oils can guarantee to meet manufacturer’s specifications batch after batch with independent test data. With no Australian regulatory watchdog it is also true that non-certified oils are not tested or regulated and are not required to conform to any designated standards system, yet label exactly the same. Only certified oils voluntarily subject themselves to random and rigorous testing by independent bodies and watchdogs, assuring not only consumer and trade markets but manufacturers as well of consistent quality and consistent dependable performance.
