For years now, the oils and lubricants market has been dominated by the usual suspects, ‘the majors’. A false consumer trust has been established through brand recognition and consumer blind faith. The oils and lubricants market is static, United Oil feels the time has never been better to educate consumers and shake up, what has been for too long, a complacent market, either dominated by the big 5 or mislead by the backyarders.

It's our intention to bring a fresh, innovative approach into what is currently an old-style market. It is also our intention to educate consumers on the importance of responsible and correct oil use, and in doing so bring great benefit to our customers. In consultation with the MTA, United Oil has created an Industry first customer retention program, specifically designed to assist service centres in growing and maintaining market share as well as elevating the service centres appeal to the community.

It is a fact that OEM oils are API certified as it is also a fact that only API oils can guarantee to meet manufacturers specifications batch after batch. With no Australian regulatory watchdog it is also true that non-certified oils are not subject to testing, and that only certified oils voluntarily subject themselves to random and rigorous testing by the API, assuring consumer and trade markets as well as manufacturers of consistent quality and guaranteed performance.
It is a fact there is a global consumer trend toward fully synthetic oils and responsible use, along with the obvious environmental benefits of using synthetic products. As United Oil produces the highest quality mineral and fully synthetic products and are the synthetic specialists, fully certified 100% synthetic oil has never been more affordable.
